Patchwork Wreath Card

Patchwork Wreath

I love the country Christmas look. I paired some trendy Close to My Heart paper with Witt and Sass’ Patchwork Christmas stamps and this is just so stinkin’ adorable

I colored and then fussy cut out the wreath and tree and then used them wreath to create a cute shaker card which is the rage this season!

I love how it turned out and I cannot wait to share it with someone who loves the rustic look.

Patchwork Christmas Tags

Patchwork tags.jpg

Christmas decorating is well underway at my house! I can barely contain myself through Halloween.  Since we do not celebrate that, I decorate for fall in September and by November, I am ready for Christmas and all the trimmings.

With that comes the baking and shopping and yes, even the gift wrapping. I find that I NEVER have enough tags.  This year my goal is to make all the tags for my gifts.  Amy’s Patchwork Christmas stamps helped me knock it out of the park.  My decorating theme is rustic and farm and these stamps totally rock it!

Haunted Dog House

This week at Witt and Sass, we are being haunted by Zombie Pets.  I figured mine should have a nice graveyard to play in.  Sadly, Frankie does not care for hamsters, so Snuffy met his demise once again.

I created a pop up box and added Cricut cut accents to make the graveyard.  Embossed and sanded card stock with blood splatter, adds to the mess.

Frankie and Snuffy were colored with Copic markers then I added glow in the dark splatter on the night sky as well as their evil eyes. At night, they have an eerie glow to them.

This was such a fun card to make around the littles.  They call it my ‘scargy’ card and do not like it any more.

I hope you love it. This is WAY out of my comfort zone but yet, this card was super popular amongst my grown kids.

Thanks for stopping in

Witt and Sass Design Team

I took a giant step and sent in a submission to be on a card crafting design team.  I should know in the next couple weeks if I make the cut. If so, look for a ton more colored designs coming your way!

I created this wonderful, kid-friendly card with the following products

Digital Image from Witt and Sass Stamp Company.  The digi was just for this contest but they have a brand new line of adorable stamps, background stencils and more!  Check them out!! They also have a fun Facebook page with tutorials, sneak peeks and more!

I colored my adorable little witch with Copic markers. I love how they blend and work for great color and depth

The remainder of the products came from Close to My Heart.

Hello Pumpkin Patterned Paper   – I love how all the papers coordinate with such ease

Shaker Window and Confetti Thin Cuts  – This is a great set for making tons of those super cute shaker cards and even coordinated confetti to go inside

Shaker Foam and Acetate  – These are amazing. You get the foam tape to make the circle shaker PLUS they cut all the inside of the remaining foam so you get a TON of foam tape squares.

Loose Sequins – Gold – These are just awesome. Tons of sparkle and bling that will last forever plus you can adhere them to the front of projects for added sparkle

Thanks for checking out my newest venture into the coloring of stamping world.
